Little Adventurer is a one-of-a-kind two-piece matching dresser set finished in bright blue with multicolored hand-painted adventure scenes — hand-painted by Darlene McCoy Tuttle of McCoy Painted.

Every drawer tells a different story: a hot air balloon, a red wagon, a bicycle, a boat, a sailboat, a yellow airplane, a tractor, a steam train, a red truck, a blue car. Darlene painted this set with a child's room in mind and left the finish chippy and aged on purpose. Her words say it best: "I left it looking old so their stickers and wear and tear will just keep it looking good." This is the rare piece that gets better with kids, not worse.

Darlene hand-mixes every chalk paint herself, blending custom colors that you won't find anywhere else. Her craft carries the tradition of Appalachian artisanship forward, one piece at a time. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
